California-born Zeb Norris was born to rock. His first concert was The Beatles at their last-ever concert, Candlestick Park in 1966. Bill Graham personally kicked him out of a Santana show at Winterland. Led Zeppelin played his High School.
After graduation from Santa Barbara High School, Zeb attended the School of Communication Electronics in San Francisco in a desperate bid to get work pushing buttons and rocking out. A year later he weaseled his way onto the KTYD staff for overnights. Since then he’s hit the radio trail, jockeying discs in Sacramento, Seattle/Tacoma (all right, Tacoma), San Jose, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, and bunch of other places that aren’t as nice as Santa Barbara. Of his luck in rejoining KTYD, Zeb says “this is way better than a medium security prison!” Join him for The Morning Mojo weekday mornings 6 to 10, plus “Breakfast with Bob” Sunday mornings at 8 and on though Sunday afternoon.
